A list of things to do....but waiting for the plumber!!!

Go check out my giveaway HERE..... it ends Friday, so be sure to get your entry(ies) in now!!

So, I have a whole list of things to do and places to go today..... but I am sitting here waiting for the plumber!!! We are having a plumbing issue and will probably have to have the whole thing (or at least on one half of the house) re-piped....great. Anyway, I love how you are given a "window of time" for these service calls....anywhere between 8:30 - 10:30.....so you know what that means- they will get here at 10:29!! Oh weel, I guess that gives me a good excuse to sit around and do nothing...good excuse to stay in pajamas and lay on the couch.... :)
And of course, it gives me time to do my Wordful Wednesday post.... Go check out Angie's Circus for more!!

It's not perfect........but I did it...... This was the first time I french braided Angie's hair:
You know, I have no problem french braiding my own hair... I can reach my hands over my head and without looking, can braid my hair...straight...without lumps!!! But for some reason, I have a hard time doing it to anybody else's hair.
Angie really doesn't like me to fix her hair.... she doesn't like me to brush it, she gives me trouble when I want to put it up and I have to fight her to let me straighten it.... BUT, she loves for me to braid it. I did have a HARD time getting her to sit still for me to do it and I wasn't able to go all the way down her hair....but we did do it and she loved it!!!
Thanks mom for making me smile:

I am the complete opposite... I can others, but not my own.

She is gorgeous! All your kiddos are!

First time over here and just wanted to say what a beautiful family you have.

I'm decent at the whole braiding thing, but most of the time I just send them over to my mom because she can whip up some badass braids in no time.

I can't french-braid AT ALL. My younger daughter got so frustrated with my lack of french-braiding, she taught herself how to french braid when she was 8. She's 17 now & still the "designated french-braider" on her soccer team before games. :)

It looks a lot better than if I had tried. I've never been able to french braid someones or mine.

I cannot french braid ANYTHING. My hair, your hair, a ponies hair: All out of luck in the french braid department!!

I think he's quite the looker myself ;) & yes, he looks very cute in his uniform! I think his hat looks better on me though! haha!

Braid the opposite direction. I bet it'll be easier for you. It looks like a braid laying on the top, rather than tucked in.

I hate service call windows. Urg!

Nice job -- luckily my daughters have a mother, or else it would be pony tails all the time.

What a pretty little thing she is! And I hate those stupid open windows for service calls.
